CourseCodearemadeupof2components,i.e.SubjectAreaCodeandCatalog
Number.Forexample,forcourseMATH5001,“MATH”is“SubjectAreaCode”and
“5001”is“CatalogNumber”.

2.2ClassSection
ClassSectionreferstotheclassopenedunderaspecificcourse.Forexample,there
canbetwosectionsofclasses,A&B,openedunderthecourseHIST5010.Theseclass
sectionscanbescheduledindifferenttimeslotsandtaughtbydifferentinstructors.
