Abstract:
Ashigh-powerlasersarebecomingincreasinglyprevalentinvariousresearchandindustrialapplications,itiscrucialtounderstandthetransmissioncharacteristicsoftheselasersinthemid-infrared(mid-IR)band.Thispaperpresentsacomprehensivestudyonthetransmissionpropertiesofhigh-powerlasersinthemid-IRband.Thefocusedareasincludethefundamentalsofhigh-powerlasers,themid-IRband,andthefactorsaffectingtransmissioncharacteristics.Additionally,thepaperdiscussestheapplicationsandchallengesofhigh-powermid-IRlasersandprovidesinsightsintofutureresearchdirections.
