Abstract
Inrecentyears,thesynchronizationcontrolofchaoticsystemshasbeenwidelystudiedduetoitsimportantapplicationsinsecurecommunicationandcryptography.Thispaperproposesasynchronizationcontrolmethodforalaserchaoticsystembasedonaneuralnetworkfinite-timeobserver.Thechaoticsystemisrepresentedbyasetofordinarydifferentialequations,andaneuralnetworkistrainedtoestimatethestatesofthechaoticsystem.Byintroducingacontrollawderivedfromtheobserver,thestatesoftheslavesystemcanbedriventosynchronizewiththemastersysteminfinitetime.Simulationresultsdemonstratetheeffectivenessandrobustnessoftheproposedmethod.
Introduction
Chaoticsystemshavecomplex,unpredictablebehaviorsthatmaketheminterestingsubjectsofstudy.Inrecentyears,researchershavefocusedonthesynchronizationcontrolofchaoticsystems,whichhasimportantapplicationsinsecurecommunication,cryptography,andotherareas.Oneofthemostwidelystudiedchaoticsystemsisthelaserchaoticsystem,whichisanon-linear,dynamicsystemwithcomplexattractorsandsensitivedependenceoninitialconditions.
Varioussynchronizationcontrolmethodshavebeenproposedforlaserchaoticsystems,includinglinearfeedbackcontrol,adaptivecontrol,andslidingmodecontrol.However,thesemethodshavelimitationsintermsofrobustnessandconvergenceperformance.Inthispaper,weproposeanewsynchronizationcontrolmethodbasedonaneuralnetworkfinite-timeobserverforlaserchaoticsystems.
Methodology
Weconsideramaster-slaveconfigurationofalaserchaoticsystemrepresentedbythefollowingordinarydifferentialequation:

wherea,b,andFdenotethesystemparameters.Inthisconfiguration,themastersystemisconsideredtobethereferencesystem,andtheslavesystemisthesystemtobecontrolled.Theobjectiveistodesignacontrollawthatcandrivetheslavesystemtosynchronizewiththemastersysteminfinitetime.
Toachievethis,weproposeaneuralnetworkfinite-timeobservertoestimatethestatesofthemastersystem.Theobserveristrainedtoestimatethestatesofthemastersystemusingonlytheslavesystem'soutput.Specifically,theobserve
