Solid-statepowercontrollers(SSPCs)arewidelyusedinvariousapplicationsfortheirabilitytopreciselycontrolpowerdelivery.Whenoperatingwithinductiveloads,SSPCsmustdealwiththechallengesofinrushcurrentsandcommutation.ThispaperaimstoanalyzethecommutationcharacteristicsofSSPCsoperatingwithinductiveloadsanddiscussthemethodsusedtomitigatetheadverseeffectsofinductiveloads.ThepaperemphasizestheimportanceofunderstandingthebehaviorofSSPCsinthesescenariosforensuringsafeandefficientoperation.
