Abstract:
TheYunnanborderareasareofsignificantinterestduetotheiruniquegeographicallocationandeconomicpotential.ThisstudyaimstoanalyzethespatialdisparitiesinGDPusingnighttimelightandlandusedata.Theresearchfindingscanprovidevaluableinsightsforpolicymakersandstakeholderstoformulatedevelopmentstrategiesandpoliciesforpromotingeconomicgrowthandregionalcooperation.
1.Introduction:
1.1Backgroundandsignificance:
TheYunnanborderareas,locatedinsouthwesternChina,arecharacterizedbytheirproximitytoneighboringcountriesandculturaldiversity.However,theseregionsexhibitsignificantdisparitiesineconomicdevelopment,whichnecessitatesacomprehensiveanalysistounderstandtheunderlyingfactors.
1.2Objectives:
-ToanalyzethespatialdisparitiesinGDPintheYunnanborderareas.
-Toexploretherelationshipbetweennighttimelight,landuse,andeconomicdevelopment.
-Toproviderecommendationsforpromotingeconomicgrowthandregionalcooperation.
2.Methodology:
2.1Datacollection:
Nighttimelightdataobtainedfromsatelliteimagescanbeusedasaproxyforeconomicactivities.Landusedata,includingagricultural,industrial,andresidentialareas,canhelpunderstandtheeconomicstructureoftheregion.
2.2Dataanalysis:
-Spatialautocorrelationanalysis:Moran'sIindexwillbecalculatedtoexaminethespatialdistributionandclusteringofGDP.
-Geographicallyweightedregression(GWR)analysis:Thistechniquewillbeusedtoexploretherelationshipbetweennighttimelight,landuse,andGDP,consideringthespatialheterogeneityintheregion.
