ThegraphshowspercentagesofcinemaattendanceatleastonceayearinAustraliabetween1990to2010withprojectionsforthefuture.Thegraphisdescribedby4groupsofdifferentageswhichare14to24,25to34,35to49andover50yearolds.
Theyoungestagegrouppeoplehavebeengoingtocinemamorethananyotheragegroupsandthepercentagehasbeenkeepingveryhighatapproximately90%since1990.Itispredictedtokeepthehighandtoincreasemorefrom2006.
Themiddleagegroupspeoplehaveenjoyedgoingcinemabetween60%to80%.Thepercentageofage25to34grouphasbeenhigherthantheoneofage35to49groupbutfrom2006thepercentageof25to34yearoldspeoplewilldecreasewhiletheoneof35to49yearoldspeoplewillincreaseandgethigherthantheotherone.
Theoldestpeopleseemtogocinemalessthantheothergroupsbutthepercentageoftheattendancehasslightlygoingupby15%from40%to55%between1990to2004anditwillkeepincreasingto60%by2010.
