2010年陕西决策部门气象服务需求调查分析
Abstract
Inrecentyears,meteorologicalserviceshavebecomeincreasinglyimportantindecision-makingprocessesacrossvarioussectors.Assuch,ithasbecomecrucialtoassessthemeteorologicalservicerequirementsofdecision-makingdepartments.In2010,asurveywascarriedoutinShaanxiProvincetogatherinformationonthemeteorologicalserviceneedsofdecision-makingdepartments.Thispaperanalyzestheresultsofthissurveyandhighlightsthekeyfindings.
Introduction
Asclimatevariabilityandchangecontinuetoposesignificantthreatstoglobaldevelopment,meteorologicalserviceshavebecomeincreasinglycritical.Assuch,governmentagencies,businesses,andcommunitieshavebeenrelyingonmeteorologicalinformationtomakeinformeddecisionsintheiroperations.However,thereisaneedtoassesswhetherthecurrentmeteorologicalservicesofferedmeettheneedsofthedecision-makingdepartments.
InShaanxiProvince,asurveywasconductedin2010toassessthemeteorologicalserviceneedsofdecision-makingdepartments.Thisstudyaimedtoanalyzethefindingsofthissurveyandprovideinsightsonthemeteorologicalservicerequirementsofdecision-makingdepartmentsinShaanxiProvince.
Methodology
ThesurveywasconductedinconjunctionwiththeShaanxiMeteorologicalBureauandinvolvedatotalof2,000respondentsfromvariousdecision-makingdepartments.Thesurveyconsistedofvariousquestions,includingthetypeofdecisionmade,thefrequencyofmeteorologicalinformationrequired,thelevelofsatisfactionwiththecurrentmeteorologicalservicesoffered,andthepreferredmethodofaccessingmeteorologicalinformation.
Results
Thesurveyfoundthatdecision-makingdepartmentsinShaanxiProvincerequiredmeteorologicalinformationforvariouspurposes,includingagriculturalproduction,disasterprevention,tourism,energyconsumption,andtransportation.Inaddition,thefrequencyofmeteorologicalinformationrequiredvariedacrosssectors,withthehighestdemandcomingfromtheagriculturalandtransportationsectors.
Concerningthelevelofsatisfactionwiththecurrentmeteorologicalservicesoffered,thesurveyfoundthatmostdecision-makingdepartmentswerenotsatisfiedwiththequ
