Intheworldofcybersecurity,authenticationandaccesscontrolaretwoimportantaspectsthatarecriticalinensuringthesafetyandintegrityofanetwork.Theuseofagentsinauthenticationandaccesscontrolsystemscanhelptoautomatetheprocessandimprovetheoverallsecurityofthenetwork.Inthispaper,wewilldiscusstheconceptofagent-basedauthenticationandnetworkaccesscontrolsystem,itsbenefits,challenges,andfuturedevelopments.
Agent-basedauthenticationandnetworkaccesscontrolsystemisasecuritysystemthatusessoftwareagentstoauthenticateusersandcontrolnetworkaccess.Theseagentsareprogrammedtoperformspecifictaskssuchasverifyinguseridentityandgrantingordenyingaccesstothenetwork.Theuseofagentsinthissystemmakesitpossibletoautomatetheauthenticationandaccesscontrolprocess,reducingtheworkloadonnetworkadministratorsandimprovingtheoverallsecurityofthenetwork.
