Abstract:
ThispaperaimstoexploreandanalyzetheclassroommanagementissuesfacedinChineselanguagelessonsinThaiprimaryschools,usingacasestudyapproach.TheresearchisessentialtohighlighttheproblemsandprovidepotentialsolutionsforenhancingtheeffectivenessofteachingChineseasaforeignlanguageinthiscontext.ThestudyisbasedonobservingandanalyzingthebehaviorofstudentsandteachersinaselectedThaiprimaryschoolduringChineselanguagelessons.Thefindingsshedlightoncommonchallengesencounteredandrecommendstrategiestoalleviatethem.Thestudyalsoemphasizestheimportanceofcreatinganoptimallearningenvironmentthroughappropriateclassroommanagementtechniques.
Introduction:
ChineselanguageeducationhasgainedpopularityinThaiprimaryschoolsduetothegrowinginfluenceofChinaandtheincreasingnumberofChinesetouristsandinvestors.WhilethecurriculumhasbeenadaptedtosuittheneedsofThaistudents,itiscrucialtocriticallyexaminetheclassroommanagementissuesthatariseduringChineselanguagelessons.Effectiveclassroommanagementisessentialforfacilitatingtheteachingandlearningprocess,maintainingdiscipline,andnurturingpositivestudentattitudestowardslearning.ThisstudyaimstoidentifythecommonproblemsfacedinThaiprimaryschoolChineselanguageclassroomsandproposeeffectivestrategiestoaddressthem.
Methodology:
Thisresearchadoptsacasestudyapproach,focusingonaselectedThaiprimaryschoolthatoffersChineselanguagelessons.ThestudyinvolvesobservingandanalyzingthebehaviorofstudentsandteachersduringChineselanguagelessons.Theobservationscoveraspectssuchasstudentengagement,discipline,teacherinstructions,andoverallclassroomenvironment.Dataisgatheredthroughdirectobservation,fieldnotes,andaudiovisualrecordings.Thecollecteddataisthenanalyzed,focusingonidentifyingrecurringpatternsandkeyissues.
