Inrecentyears,therapiddevelopmentofinformationandcommunicationtechnologieshasincreasedthedemandforsecureandreliablenetworkaccessineducationalinstitutionssuchasuniversitiesandcolleges.Campusnetworksplayavitalroleinfacilitatingcommunication,collaboration,andaccesstoonlineresourcesforstudents,faculty,andstaff.Toensuretheintegrityandconfidentialityofdatatransmittedoverthesenetworks,ithasbecomeessentialtoimplementrobustsecuritymeasures.IEEE802.1xauthenticationisonesuchmechanismthatprovidesenhancedsecurityforcampusnetworkenvironments.
2.OverviewofIEEE802.1xAuthentication
