Abstract
Withthecontinuousdevelopmentofeducation,theteachingmethodsofuniversityEnglishvocabularyhavegraduallyundergonechanges.ThisstudyusesaquestionnairesurveymethodtoanalyzethecurrentsituationofmultimodalteachingofuniversityEnglishvocabulary.Throughtheanalysisofthedata,theresultsshowthattheuseofmultimodalteachingmethodshasapositiveimpactonstudents'Englishvocabularylearning,anditcaneffectivelysupportstudentsinimprovingEnglishvocabularyacquisition,pronunciation,andapplicationabilities.Therefore,itisnecessarytocontinuouslyimprovethequalityofmultimodalteachinginuniversityEnglishvocabularycourses.

Introduction
Englishisthemostcommonlyusedlanguageintheworld,anditisanindispensablelanguageinsocialandeconomicdevelopment.Forcollegestudents,masteringEnglishcangreatlyimprovetheircompetitivenessinthejobmarket,andthefoundationofmasteringEnglishisthevocabulary.Therefore,teachingEnglishvocabularyinuniversityisofgreatsignificance.Duetothelimitationsoftraditionalteachingmethods,theeffectofEnglishvocabularyteachingcannotmeettheneedsofuniversitystudents.Therefore,thereisanurgentneedforreformofthetraditionalteachingmethods,andthemultimodalteachingmethodhasbecomearesearchhotspotinthefieldoflanguageteaching.
Multimodalteachingisawaytointegratedifferentformsofmediainteaching.Itincludesvisual,auditory,tactile,andotherteachingforms,whicharesuitablefordifferentlearningstylesofstudents,andcanstimulatestudents'interestinlearning,improvelearningefficiency,andimprovelearningquality.Inrecentyears,collegesanduniversitieshaveconductedvariousapplicationsofmultimodalteachinginEnglishvocabularyteaching.
Methods
