Introduction: CC-NUMAsystemshavegainedattentionduetotheirabilitytoprovidescalableperformanceforparallelworkloads.Thesesystemsconsistofmultipleprocessorsinterconnectedthroughacrossbaroranetwork,witheachprocessorhavingitsownprivatecacheandlocalmemory.However,accessingremotememoryinCC-NUMAsystemsincurshigherlatenciescomparedtolocalmemoryaccess.Pagemigrationaimstoalleviatethisoverheadbydynamicallymigratingfrequentlyaccessedpagesclosertotheprocessorthataccessesthemfrequently,thusreducingaccesslatencies. SignificanceofReversePageTableTechnique: InCC-NUMAsystems,thereversepagetabletechniqueplaysacrucialroleinenablingefficientpagemigration.Traditionalpagetablesmaintainmappingsfromvirtualaddressestophysicaladdresses,allowingtheoperatingsystemtotranslatevirtualaddressesintophysicaladdresses.Incontrast,thereversepagetabletechniquemaintainsmappingsfromphysicaladdressestovirtualaddresses.Thisreversalofmappingprovidesseveraladvantagesforpagemigration.
