Introduction
Patentsearchisacriticalareaofresearchanddevelopmentinseveralindustries,includingpharmaceuticals.Asignificantchallengeofthepatentsearchprocessistheamountofdatathatmustbeprocessedtofindrelevantinformation.Naturallanguageprocessing(NLP)techniqueshaveseenwidespreaduseintheprocessofpatentsearchinrecentyears.ThispaperexplorestheapplicationofNLPtechniquesindrugpatentsearchandhighlightstheadvantagesofusingthesetechniques.
