Abstract:
Coalsmokeparticlesposesignificantenvironmentalandhealthchallengesduetotheircomplexcompositionandadverseeffectsonairquality.Understandingtheopticalpropertiesandlightscatteringcharacteristicsofcoalsmokeparticulatematteriscrucialinassessingtheirimpactontheenvironment,visibility,andhumanhealth.Thispaperaimstoreviewandanalyzeresearchontheopticalpropertiesandlightscatteringcharacteristicsofparticlesfromcoalsmokeaggregates.
1.Introduction
Coalcombustionisamajorsourceofairpollutionworldwide,andtheresultingcoalsmokecontainsawiderangeofparticulatematter.Theseparticlesnotonlyhavedetrimentaleffectsonhumanhealthbutalsocontributetoregionalatmosphericpollution.Therefore,understandingthepropertiesandbehaviorofcoalsmokeparticlesisessentialforeffectiveairpollutioncontrolandmanagementstrategies.
2.FormationandCompositionofCoalSmokeParticles
Coalsmokeparticlesoriginatefromtheincompletecombustionofcoal,whichgeneratesacomplexmixtureofsolidandliquidparticles.Theseparticlesarecomposedofelementalcarbon,organiccompounds,tracemetals,andinorganicsalts.Thecomplexchemicalcompositionsignificantlyinfluencestheopticalpropertiesandlightscatteringcharacteristicsofcoalsmokeparticulatematter.
