Abstract:
Thelow-temperatureoxidationofcoalisanimportantfieldofstudyinthecoalminingindustry.Inthisstudy,theB-typecorrelationbetweenthesurfacefunctionalgroupsofcoalandtemperaturewasanalyzedbyinfraredspectroscopyandthermogravimetricanalysis.TheresultsshowedthattheB-typecorrelationbetweenthesurfacefunctionalgroupsandtemperaturewasstrong,indicatingthatthesurfacefunctionalgroupsofcoalplayedanimportantroleinthelow-temperatureoxidationofcoal.

Introduction:
Thelow-temperatureoxidationofcoalisacomplexprocessinvolvingmanyfactors,suchascoalproperties,oxygenconcentration,temperature,andtime.Itisanimportantprobleminthecoalminingindustry,asitcanleadtospontaneouscombustion,whichcancausesafetyhazardsandeconomiclosses.Therefore,itisnecessarytostudythelow-temperatureoxidationbehaviorofcoalfromvariousaspects.
Manystudieshaveshownthatthesurfacefunctionalgroupsofcoalplayanimportantroleinthelow-temperatureoxidationofcoal.Theinteractionbetweenthesurfacefunctionalgroupsandoxygencanleadtothegenerationoffreeradicals,whichinitiatetheoxidationreaction.Therefore,itisimportanttostudytherelationshipbetweenthesurfacefunctionalgroupsofcoalandtemperaturetobetterunderstandthelow-temperatureoxidationbehaviorofcoal.
Inthisstudy,weanalyzedtheB-typecorrelationbetweenthesurfacefunctionalgroupsofcoalandtemperaturebyusinginfraredspectroscopyandthermogravimetricanalysis.Theresultsprovidedusefulinformationforunderstandingthelow-temperatureoxidationbehaviorofcoal.
Experimental:
CoalsampleswerecollectedfromacoalmineinChina.Thesampleswerecrushed,ground,andsievedtoobtainparticleswithasizeoflessthan0.15mm.ThesurfacefunctionalgroupsofthecoalsampleswereanalyzedbyFouriertransforminfrared(FTIR)spectroscopy.Thespectrawererecordedintherangeof4000-400cm-1witharesolutionof4cm-1.Thelow-temperatureoxidationbehaviorofthecoalsampleswasmeasuredbythermogravimetricanalysis(TGA)usingaNETZSCHSTA449F3instrument.
