Manystudieshaveshownthatthesurfacefunctionalgroupsofcoalplayanimportantroleinthelow-temperatureoxidationofcoal.Theinteractionbetweenthesurfacefunctionalgroupsandoxygencanleadtothegenerationoffreeradicals,whichinitiatetheoxidationreaction.Therefore,itisimportanttostudytherelationshipbetweenthesurfacefunctionalgroupsofcoalandtemperaturetobetterunderstandthelow-temperatureoxidationbehaviorofcoal. Inthisstudy,weanalyzedtheB-typecorrelationbetweenthesurfacefunctionalgroupsofcoalandtemperaturebyusinginfraredspectroscopyandthermogravimetricanalysis.Theresultsprovidedusefulinformationforunderstandingthelow-temperatureoxidationbehaviorofcoal. Experimental: CoalsampleswerecollectedfromacoalmineinChina.Thesampleswerecrushed,ground,andsievedtoobtainparticleswithasizeoflessthan0.15mm.ThesurfacefunctionalgroupsofthecoalsampleswereanalyzedbyFouriertransforminfrared(FTIR)spectroscopy.Thespectrawererecordedintherangeof4000-400cm-1witharesolutionof4cm-1.Thelow-temperatureoxidationbehaviorofthecoalsampleswasmeasuredbythermogravimetricanalysis(TGA)usingaNETZSCHSTA449F3instrument.
