Introduction
Inrecentyears,withthedevelopmentofinformationtechnology,theblendedflippedclassroommodelhasgraduallyemergedincollegeEnglishteaching.Theblendedflippedclassroommodelisateachingmodethatcombinestheadvantagesoftraditionalclassroomteachingandonlinelearning.Itcombinestheadvantagesofthetraditionalclassroomteachingandonlineteaching,andenhancesstudents'learningoutcomesbyprovidingflexibleandpersonalizedlearningexperiences.ThispaperwillexploretheapplicationoftheblendedflippedclassroommodelincollegeEnglishteachinganddiscussitsadvantagesanddisadvantages.
I.TheConceptofBlendedFlippedClassroom
Blendedlearningisaninstructionalapproachthatcombinestraditionalface-to-faceclassroomteachingwithonlinelearning.Intheblendedlearningmodel,studentsaregivenmorecontroloverthepaceandcontentoftheirlearning.Theycanaccessonlinematerialsandresourcestoreinforcewhattheyhavelearnedintheclassroom.Flippedclassroomisanewteachingmodethathasbeenpopularizedinrecentyears.Thismodeofteachingusestechnologytoallowstudentstolearnthecontentattheirownpace.Inaflippedclassroom,studentswatchpre-recordedlecturesbeforeclass,andthenuseclasstimetoapplytheknowledgetheyhavelearned.
