Abstract:
Theconstructionofsuperlargetwin-wallsteelsheetpilecofferdamposesseveralsafetyrisksduetoitsmassivesizeandcomplexdesign.Thisresearchaimstoidentifyandanalyzethesepotentialrisksandproposeeffectivecontrolmeasurestoensurethesafetyoftheconstructionprocess.Theresearchmethodologyincludesliteraturereview,on-siteobservations,anddataanalysis.Findingshighlightseveralkeyrisks,suchasstabilityissues,materialfailure,andenvironmentalhazards.Tomitigatetheserisks,strategiessuchasproperdesignandmaintenance,trainingandawarenessprograms,andstrictimplementationofsafetyguidelinesarerecommended.Thestudycontributestoabetterunderstandingofthesafetyimplicationsassociatedwiththeconstructionofsuperlargetwin-wallsteelsheetpilecofferdams.
