Roofgardenshavebecomeapopulartrendinurbanareasduetotheirnumerousbenefits,includingimprovingairquality,reducingurbanheatislandeffect,andenhancingthequalityoflifeforresidents.ThisresearchfocusesonXi'anCityandaimstoexplorethelandscapeoptimizationofroofgardensinordertomaximizetheirpotentialbenefits.ThestudybeginswithanoverviewofthecurrentstatusofroofgardensinXi'anCity,followedbyananalysisofthechallengesandopportunitiesfortheirlandscapeoptimization.Theresearchalsoidentifieskeyfactorsthatcontributetosuccessfulroofgardendesignandimplementation,suchasplantselection,irrigationsystems,andmaintenancepractices.Inaddition,thestudydiscussestheimportanceofpublicparticipationandcollaborationbetweencityplanners,landscapearchitects,andresidentstoachievethedesiredresults.ThefindingsofthisresearchcanaidinthedevelopmentofeffectivestrategiestooptimizethelandscapeofroofgardensinXi'anCity,contributingtotheoverallsustainabilityandlivabilityoftheurbanenvironment.
