Abstract:
Machinetranslation(MT)technologyhasundergonesignificantadvancementsinrecentyears.However,thetranslationqualityoflongsentenceswithcomplexsemanticrelationshipsremainsachallengeforMTsystems.Thispaperfocusesontheoptimizationofmachinetranslationalgorithmsforlongsentences,particularlyincapturingandpreservingsemanticrelationsinEnglishtoChinesetranslation.AthoroughinvestigationofexistingmethodsandtechniquesemployedinMT,suchasneuralnetworksandattentionmechanisms,isconducted.Furthermore,strategiesforeffectivelyhandlingsyntacticandsemanticinformationinlongsentencesareproposed.Finally,theperformanceoftheproposedoptimizationsisevaluatedthroughexperimentsonvariousbenchmarkdatasets,demonstratingthepotentialoftheirpracticalimplementation.
