Abstract:
Woodisacommonmaterialusedinconstructionandfurnitureindustryduetoitssustainableandaestheticproperties.However,woodissusceptibletodimensionalchangescausedbymoistureandtemperaturevariations,whichcanaffectitsstructuralstability.Thisstudyaimstoinvestigatetheeffectofpre-compressiontreatmentandadhesiveapplicationtechniqueonimprovingthesizestabilityoflaminatedwoodmadefrompoplarwood,specificallytargetingtheuseofyangwood.
1.Introduction

Woodisawidelyusedmaterialinconstruction,furniture,anddecorativeapplicationsduetoitsversatility,beauty,andsustainability.However,oneofthemajordrawbacksofwoodisitsdimensionalchangescausedbyvariationsinmoistureandtemperature.Thesechangescanleadtostructuralinstability,warping,andcracking,limitingitsfullpotentialinvariousapplications.

Theobjectiveofthisstudyistoexploretheeffectivenessofpre-compressiontreatmentandadhesiveapplicationtechniqueinimprovingthesizestabilityoflaminatedwoodmadefrompoplarwood,includingyangwood.
2.Methodology
