Abstract:
Microfluidictechnologyhasgainedimmensepopularityinthefieldofchemicalanalysisduetoitsabilitytointegratecomplexprocessesontoasinglechip.Inthispaper,wepresentapoly(methylmethacrylate)(PMMA)microfluidicchipspecificallydesignedfortherapidanalysisoffattyaminecompounds.Fattyaminesarewidelyusedinvariousapplications,includingsurfactants,pharmaceuticals,andagrochemicals.Therefore,thedevelopmentofarapidandefficientanalyticaltechniqueforfattyaminesisofgreatimportance.ThePMMAmicrofluidicchipoffersseveraladvantages,includingtheabilitytoperformon-chipsamplepre-treatmentandseparation,reducedsamplevolume,improvedanalyticalefficiency,anddecreasedanalysistime.Thispaperdiscussesthedesign,fabrication,andperformanceevaluationofthePMMAmicrofluidicchipfortheanalysisoffattyaminecompounds.
