Abstract:
TheDongyingDepressionisanimportantoilandgasexplorationareainChina.Inthisstudy,wefocusonthesedimentarycharacteristicsoftheSandRiverStreetGroupintheYondongareaoftheDongyingDepression.Throughfieldobservationsandanalysisofsedimentsamples,weaimtounderstandthedepositionalenvironment,faciesdistribution,andpotentialhydrocarbonreservoirsinthisregion.TheresultsofthisstudywillprovidevaluableinsightsforpetroleumexplorationanddevelopmentintheDongyingDepression.
Introduction:
TheSandRiverStreetGroupisoneoftheprimaryobjectivesforhydrocarbonexplorationintheDongyingDepression.Itiscomposedofvarioussedimentaryformations,includingsandstone,siltstone,shale,andcoalseams.Thisstudyaimstoanalyzethesedimentarycharacteristicsofthisgroup,understandthedepositionalenvironment,andidentifypotentialhydrocarbonreservoirs.
Methods:
FieldsurveysandsamplecollectionwereconductedintheYondongareaoftheDongyingDepression.Sedimentsampleswerecollectedfromdifferentformationsandanalyzedusingvarioustechniques,includinggrainsizeanalysis,petrographicanalysis,andgeochemicalanalysis.Theseanalyseswereusedtodeterminethesedimentaryfacies,depositionalenvironment,andpotentialhydrocarbonsourcerockandreservoirrockintheSandRiverStreetGroup.
Results:
1.DepositionalEnvironment:TheSandRiverStreetGroupintheYondongareaisinterpretedtohavebeendepositedinafluvial-deltaicsystem.Thepresenceofwell-sortedandmedium-coarsesandstonewithcross-beddingindicatesriverinedeposition,whileinterbeddedmudstoneandsiltstonesuggestmarineinfluence.
2.SedimentaryFacies:Basedongrainsizeanalysisandsedimentarystructures,theSandRiverStreetGroupintheYondongareacanbedividedintofourfacies:fluvial,deltaic,shoreface,andoffshore.Thefluvialfaciesischaracterizedbycross-beddedsandstone,whilethedeltaicfaciesischaracterizedbyalternatingsandstone,siltstone,andshale.Theshorefacefaciesisdominatedbymedium-coarsesandstonewithripplemarks,where
