英国首相卡梅伦连任演讲英国首相卡梅伦连任演讲I'vejustbeentoseeHerMajestytheQueen,andIwillnowformamajorityConservativegovernment.I'vebeenproudtoleadthefirstcoalitiongovernmentin70years,andIwanttothankallthosewhoworkedsohardtomakeitasuccess;andinparticular,onthisday,NickClegg.Electionscanbebruisingclashesofideasandarguments,andalotofpeoplewhobelieveprofoundlyinpublicservicehaveseenthatservicecutshort.EdMilibandrangmethismorningtowishmeluckwiththenewgovernment;itwasatypicallygenerousgesturefromsomeonewhoisclearlyinpublicserviceforalltherightreasons.ThegovernmentIleddidimportantwork:itlaidthefoundationsforabetterfuture,andnowwemustbuildonthem.Itrulybelievewe'reonthebrinkofsomethingspecialinourcountry;wecanmakeBritainaplacewhereagoodlifeisinreachforeveryonewhoiswillingtoworkanddotherightthing.Ourmanifestoisamanifestoforworkingpeople,andasamajoritygovernmentwewillbeabletodeliverallofit;indeed,itisthereasonwhyIthinkmajoritygovernmentismoreaccountable.Threemillionapprenticeships;morehelpwithchildcare;helping30millionpeoplecopewiththecostoflivingbycuttingtheirtaxes;buildinghomesthatpeopleareabletobuyandown;creatingmillionsmorejobsthatgivepeoplethechanceofabetterfuture.Andyes,wewilldeliverthatin/outreferendumonourfutureinEurope.Asweconductthisvitalwork,wemustensurethatwebringourcountrytogether.AsIsaidinthesmallhoursofthismorning,wewillgovernasapartyofonenation,oneUnitedKingdom.Thatmeansensuringthisrecoveryreachesallpartsofourcountry:fromnorthtosouth,fromeasttowest.Andindeed,itmeansrebalancingoureconomy,buildingthat"NorthernPowerhouse".Itmeansgivingeveryoneinourcountryachance,sonomatterwhereyou'refromyouhavetheopportunitytomakethemostofyourlife.Itmeansgivingthepoorestpeoplethechanceoftraining,ajob,andhopeforthefuture.Itmeansthatforchildrenwhodon'tgetthebeststartinlife,theremustbethenurseryeducationandgoodschoolingthatcantransformtheirlifechances.Andofcourse,itmeansbringingtogetherthedifferentnationsofourUnitedKingdom.Ihavealwaysbelievedingoverningwithrespect.That'sw
