Abstract:
Intheprocessofpurifyingarsenic-saltzincsolution,theremovalofcobaltionsplaysacrucialrole.Therefore,thisstudyaimedtodevelopandimplementacobaltionconcentrationpredictionmodelfortheefficientpurificationofarsenic-saltzincsolutions.Themodelisbasedonmathematicalandstatisticalanalysis,usingvariousfactorsinfluencingcobaltionconcentrationasinputvariables.Thispaperdiscussestheresearcheffortsundertakentodevelopandimplementthismodel.
1.Introduction:
Inthehydrometallurgicalprocessofpurifyingarsenic-saltzincsolution,cobaltionsposeasignificantchallengeduetotheirdetrimentaleffectonproductquality.Thepresenceofcobalthinderstheefficientpurificationofthesolution,leadingtolowerzincrecoveryratesandincreasedarseniccontamination.Developingapredictivemodelforcobaltionconcentrationcanaidindesigningeffectivepurificationprocessesandoptimizingtheoverallefficiency.
2.LiteratureReview:
Previousresearchonthepurificationofarsenic-saltzincsolutionshasfocusedonvariousaspects,includingthemechanismofcobaltionremoval,processoptimization,andtheuseofdifferentpurificationtechniques.However,thereislimitedliteratureavailableregardingthedevelopmentofpredictivemodelsforcobaltionconcentration.
3.ResearchMethodology:
Theresearchmethodologyinvolvedcollectingdatafromexperimentaltestsconductedonpurifiedarsenic-saltzincsolutions.Thedataincludedcobaltionconcentrations,alongwithvariousinputfactorssuchassolutiontemperature,pH,flowrate,andconcentrationofarsenic.Statisticalanalysistechniques,suchasmultipleregressionanalysisandartificialneuralnetworks,wereutilizedtoestablishtherelationshipbetweentheinputfactorsandcobaltionconcentration.
