Countrymusic’sancestorswereintroduced②intotheUnitedStatesfromotherpartsoftheworldasemigrants(移民)fromEuropebroughtalongtheirownmusicandinstrumentsmorethan300yearsago.Aftertheirmigration,theysettledinthesouthernpartoftheAppalachianMountainssituatedinthenorthernpartofAmerica.WestAfricanmusicaltraditionsbroughtintotheregionbyslavesalsoplayedamajorroleinthedevelopmentofwhatwouldcometobeknownasCountryMusic.SpreadandDevelopment
Thefirstgenerationofmainstream(主流)AmericanCountryMusicwasrecordedintheearly1920s,andthroughoutthatdecade,severalmusiciansrecordedtheseandvariousbluessongs.Between1930and1940,radiosbecamethepopularsourceofentertainment③,anddifferentshowshadbeensetupfortheplayingofthecountrysongswhichhadgrownfamousalloverthesouthfromChicagotoCalifornia.MoviesalsocreatedfromtheHollywoodusedthecountrymusicassoundtracksthusmadethemwidelyknown.AftertheSecondWorldWar,variousclasseslikegospelmusic(福音音乐)andotherrawmusichavegrownprogressively.Ontopofthat,theyhavebeenreceivedwellbytheaudience,andtheyalsooffersupportwhichactsasamotivation④totheartists.词海拾贝
