近化学计量比铌酸锂晶体生长的新方法(英文) NewMethodsforLithiumNiobateCrystalGrowthBasedonStoichiometryRatio Lithiumniobate(LiNbO3)isanimportantmaterialinelectronicsandphotonics,duetoitsuniquepropertiessuchashighnonlinearopticalcoefficient,widetransparencyrange,andpiezoelectriceffect.ThecrystalgrowthofLiNbO3iscriticaltoobtainhigh-qualitysinglecrystalsfordeviceapplications.Inthepastdecades,variousmethodshavebeendevelopedforLiNbO3crystalgrowth,suchasCzochralskimethod,Bridgmanmethod,andvaportransportmethod.However,thesemethodshavesomelimitationsintermsofgrowthrate,crystalquality,andcost. Recently,newmethodshaveemergedforLiNbO3crystalgrowthbasedonstoichiometryratio,whichhasshownpromisingresultsintermsofgrowthrate,crystalquality,andcost-effectiveness.Thestoichiometryratioreferstotheratioofthemolaramountsoftheconstituentelementsinthecrystallattice,whichshouldbemaintainedduringthecrystalgrowthprocesstoobtainthedesiredchemicalcompositionandcrystalstructure. Oneofthenewmethodsisthefluxmethod,whichinvolvesmixingthestartingmaterials,Li2CO3andNb2O5,withafluxingagent,suchasK2CO3orNa2CO3,inacertainstoichiometryratio.Themixtureisheatedtoahightemperature,abovethemeltingpointofthefluxingagent,andthenslowlycooleddowntoallowthecrystaltogrowfromthemelt.Theuseoffluxingagentscanfacilitatethedissolutionofthestartingmaterials,reducethemeltingtemperature,andimprovethecrystallinequality,byminimizingthedefectsandimpurities. Anothernewmethodisthehydrothermalmethod,whichutilizesahigh-pressureandhigh-temperaturewatersolutionasthegrowthmedium.Thestartingmaterials,LiOHandNb2O5,aredissolvedinthewatersolutioninacertainstoichiometryratio,andthensealedinastainlesssteelautoclave.Theautoclaveisheatedtoahightemperatureandpressure,andthenslowlycooleddowntoallowthecrystaltogrowfromthesolution.Thehydrothermalmethodcanprovideacontrolledenvironmentforthecrystalgrowth,andreducethedefectsandimpurities,bypromotingthehomogeneousnucleationandcrystalgrowth.
