Introduction: Languageproficiencyplaysacrucialroleinlanguageteachingandlearning.Thequalityandeffectivenessofteachinglargelydependonthelanguagecompetenceofteachers.Understandingthecorrelationbetweenthelanguageproficiencyofteachersandthelearningabilitiesofstudentsisessentialforoptimizingteachingmethodsandimprovingeducationaloutcomes.ThisstudyaimstoexaminethealignmentbetweenthelanguageproficiencyofprofessionalEnglishteachersandthelearningabilitiesoftheirstudents,consideringvariousfactorsthatmightinfluencethiscorrelation. LiteratureReview: Previousresearchhasindicatedapositivecorrelationbetweenteacherlanguageproficiencyandstudentacademicperformance(Celce-Murcia,2001;Harris,2003).Ithasbeensuggestedthatteacherswithhigherlanguageproficiencycanprovidemoreaccuratelanguagemodels,facilitatebettercomprehension,andensureeffectivecommunicationintheclassroom.However,somestudieshavealsohighlightedotherfactorsthatmayinfluencestudentperformancesuchasclassroommanagement,instructionaltechniques,andstudents'motivation. Methodology: Thisstudyutilizedaquantitativeresearchdesign.AsurveyquestionnairewasdistributedtoprofessionalEnglishteacherstoevaluatetheirlanguageproficiency.Thequestionnaireincludedsectionsonvocabulary,grammar,pronunciation,andoverallfluency.Additionally,theacademicperformancerecordsoftheirstudentswerecollected.Thedatawereanalyze
