Themanufacturingprocessofwood-rubbercompositesusuallyinvolvesthreemajorsteps:rawmaterialpreparation,mixingandcompounding,andmolding.Therawmaterialsusedforwood-rubbercompositesareusuallywoodparticlesandrubberparticles.Thewoodparticlescanbederivedfromnaturalwood,woodwaste,orrecycledwood,whiletherubberparticlesaretypicallyobtainedfromrecycledtiresorotherrubberproducts.Theparticlesize,shape,anddistributionofbothwoodandrubberparticlescanhaveasignificantimpactonthefinalpropertiesofthecomposites.
