Introduction:
Aparallelrepairablesystemisanessentialcomponentinvariousmanufacturingandindustrialprocesses.Inthispaper,wewillanalysethereliabilityofatwo-componentparallelrepairablesystemwithasparepartandarepairmanunderPoissonshock.Theprimaryfocusofthisstudyistodeterminethesystem'sreliabilitybycalculatingthesystem'sexpectedmeantimetofailure(MTTF)andtheavailabilityofthesystem.Thereliabilityofthesystemisvitalinensuringthatthemanufacturingandindustrialprocessesarenotinterruptedbysuddenbreakdowns.
SystemDescription:
TheTwo-componentparallelrepairablesystemconsistsofidenticalcomponentsthatworkinparallel.Thesystemhasasparepartandarepairman.Incaseoneofthecomponentsfails,thesystemswitchestothebackupcomponent,andthebrokencomponentisfixedbytherepairman.Duringtherepairprocess,thesystemrunsonthehealthycomponentandthesparecomponent.Therepairprocessisanexponentialdistributionwiththeaveragerepairtimeofμn.
