Thedigitaloceanreferstotheuseofadvanceddigitaltechnologytoenhanceourunderstandingoftheoceananditsecology,increasingtheefficiencyofmarineresourcemanagementandboostingeconomicdevelopment.China'sdigitaloceaninformationframeworkhasbeenplayinganincreasinglysignificantroleinpromotinginternationalcooperationinthemaritimedomain.ThispaperdiscusseshowChina'sdigitaloceaninformationframeworkhasbeenappliedininternationalmaritimecooperation.

China'sdigitaloceaninformationframeworkiscomprehensiveandintegrated,encompassingmarinemonitoring,forecasting,resourceassessment,andecosystemresearch.Itcomprisessixdatacenters,includinganationalmarinedatacenter,acoastalzonedatacenter,andfourthematicdatacenters,alongwithavarietyofspecializedplatformsanddatabases.
Thenationalmarinedatacenterisresponsibleforthecollection,storage,andmanagementofmarinedatathroughoutChina'scoastalareasandadjacentseas.Thecoastalzonedatacenterfocusesonthemanagementofdatarelatedtothecoastalandestuarineenvironment.Thefourthematicdatacentersarededicatedtomarineecology,marineresources,marinegeology,andmarinemeteorology,respectively,andprovidespecializeddataservices.
Moreover,Chinahasalsodevelopedarangeofspecializedplatformsanddatabasestoenhanceitsdigitaloceanframework.Theseincludeamarineecologicalmonitoringandforecastingsystem,amarineenvironmentalinformationplatform,afisheryresourcemonitoringandmanagementsystem,andamarineremotesensingdatasharingplatform.
