Introduction:
Drybulkshippingreferstothetransportationofbulkcargothatisnotpackaged,suchasironore,coal,grains,andores.Drybulkshippingisanessentialcomponentofglobaltradeandaccountsformorethan50%ofthetotalvolumeofseabornetrade.Thesupplyofdrybulkshippingcapacity,i.e.,thenumberofshipsavailabletotransportdrybulkcargo,playsacrucialroleintheglobaleconomy.Thispaperanalyzesthesupplyofdrybulkshippingcapacityanditsimpactonglobaltrade.
