Astheworldbecomesmoreconnected,learningEnglishhasbecomeanessentialpartofthecurriculumformanyuniversitystudentsinChina.Englishmajors,inparticular,areexpectedtohaveahighlevelofproficiencyinthelanguage,whichplacesasignificantdemandonEnglishteachersintermsofhowbesttodeliverthecontent.Inthiscontext,thispaperaimstoanalyzethecurrentteachingstrategiesusedincomprehensiveEnglishcoursesforEnglishmajorsinChina.

Inaddition,theteachingofpronunciationandintonationhasbecomemorevalued,asitisanintegralpartofspeakingalanguage.Thisstrategyincludestargetedlisteningexercisesandpronunciationdrillstodevelopstudents'auralskills.
Furthermore,theintegrationoftechnologyintheclassroomhasbecomeanincreasinglypopularapproach.Thisinvolvestheuseofmultimediaresourcessuchasvideos,podcasts,andinteractivesoftware.Theuseoftechnologyintheclassroomhasmanybenefits,includingincreasedstudentengagementandimprovedcomprehension,makingthelearningprocessmoredynamicandvaried.
AnotheremergingtrendistheCLIL(ContentandLanguageIntegratedLearning)approach.Thismethodinvolvestheteachingofsubjectcontentinaforeignlanguage.Forexample,anEnglishteachercanteachales
