Abstract:
Withtheincreasingsignificanceofresearchandinnovationinhighereducationinstitutions,thereisagrowingneedforanadvancedresearchmanagementsystemthatpromotescollaboration,streamlinesadministrativeprocesses,andenhancesoverallefficiency.ThispaperpresentsthedesignofacollaborativeplatformforresearchmanagementinhighereducationinstitutionsbasedontheSRM(ScienceandResearchManagement)system.Theplatformaimstofacilitateseamlesscommunication,enhanceinterdisciplinarycollaboration,simplifyadministrativetasks,andstreamlinetheresearchworkflow.Throughtheimplementationofthisplatform,universitiesandresearchinstitutionscanoptimizetheirresearchmanagementpractices,fosterinnovation,andpropelthegrowthofscientificknowledge.
1.Introduction:
Researchmanagementplaysacriticalroleinhighereducationinstitutionsbyfacilitatingthecoordinationofresources,encouraginginterdisciplinarycollaboration,andensuringsmoothcommunicationacrossvariousstakeholders.However,traditionalresearchmanagementpracticesofteninvolvetediousandtime-consumingadministrativetasks,hinderingtheefficiencyandeffectivenessofresearchprocesses.TheadventofSRMsystemshasprovidedanopportunitytotransformresearchmanagementandcreateacollaborativeplatformcapableofmeetingtheevolvingdemandsoftheresearchcommunity.
