1.Introduction:
ThedevelopmentofSuperconductingMagneticEnergyStorage(SMES)systemshasgainedsignificantattentionduetotheirabilitytostoreandsupplylargeamountsofelectricalenergywithhighefficiency.YttriumBariumCopperOxide(YBCO)superconductingtapeshaveemergedasapromisingcandidateforSMESmagnetconstructionduetotheirhighcriticaltemperatureandstrongmagneticproperties.ThisresearchaimstofocusontheoptimizationdesignandstabilityanalysisofSMESmagnetsutilizingYBCOsuperconductingtapes.
2.Objectives:
-TooptimizethedesignofSMESmagnetsbasedonYBCOsuperconductingtapestoachievemaximumenergystoragecapacityandmagneticfieldstrength.
-ToinvestigateandanalyzethestabilityofthedesignedSMESmagnetsunderdifferentoperatingconditions,suchasvaryingtemperature,magneticfield,andcurrent.
-ToproposeimprovementsandstrategiestoenhancethestabilityandperformanceofSMESmagnetsutilizingYBCOsuperconductingtapes.
3.Methodology:
3.1MagnetDesignOptimization:
-LiteraturereviewtounderstandthecurrentstateoftheartinSMESmagnetdesignandoptimization.
-AnalyzethepropertiesofYBCOsuperconductingtapesandtheirinfluenceonthedesignofSMESmagnets.
-Utilizecomputersimulationsandmodelingtechniquestooptimizethemagnetdesignparameters,suchascoilgeometry,tapearrangement,andcoolingsystem.
-Evaluatedifferentdesignscenariostoachievethemaximumenergystoragecapacityandmagneticfieldstrengthwhileconsideringpracticalconstraints.
3.2StabilityAnalysis:
-Conductexperimentaltestsundervariousoperatingconditions,suchastemperature,magneticfield,andcurrent.
-MonitorthecriticalcurrentandresistivelossesoftheYBCOtapes.
