Introduction Vocabularyisthecornerstoneoflanguagelearning,anditplaysanessentialroleinEnglishlanguagelearning.However,traditionalvocabularyteachingmethods,suchasmemorizingvocabularylists,havebeencriticizedforbeingpassiveandineffective.Consequently,itisimperativetoexploreinnovativevocabularyteachingstrategiestoenhancestudents'learningoutcomes. SmartclassroomshaveenormouspotentialtoimproveEnglishvocabularyteaching.Smartclassroomsareequippedwithmultimediateachingequipment,interactivewhiteboards,projectors,andsoundsystems,whichprovidediversifiedandinteractivelanguagelearningresources.Therefore,themethodsemployedshouldbeintegratedintothecurriculumsothatstudentscanbenefitfrommoderntechnologicalinnovationsinlanguageacquisition. TheimportanceofvocabularyisemphasizedintheEnglishcurriculum,anddifferentapproachestoteachingvocabularyhavebeenproposedovertime.ThisarticleaimstoexploretheteachingstrategiesofhighschoolEnglishvocabularybasedonsmartclassroomtechnology,focusingonseveralaspects.
