Abstract:
Thispaperpresentsanexperimentalstudyontheseismicperformanceofconcretesandwichcompositepanels.Theaimoftheresearchistounderstandthebehaviorandperformanceofthesepanelsunderseismicloadingandtoprovideinsightsfortheirapplicationinearthquake-proneregions.Theexperimentalprogramconsistedoffabricatingandtestingseveralconcretesandwichpanelssubjectedtosimulatedseismicactions.Variousaspectssuchasstrength,deformationcapacity,energydissipation,andfailuremodeswereinvestigated.Theresultsobtainedfromtheexperimentswereanalyzedandinterpretedtoevaluatetheseismicperformanceoftheconcretesandwichcompositepanels.Thefindingsindicatethatthesepanelspossessexcellentseismicresistanceandcaneffectivelydissipateenergyduringseismicevents.Overall,thestudyhighlightsthepotentialofconcretesandwichcompositepanelsasaviablesolutionforenhancingtheseismicresilienceofstructures.
