Abstract:
ThispaperdiscussesthecollaborationbetweenNECCorporationandHanpcoinpromotingtheapplicationofObbligatoII,aJapaneseProductLifecycleManagement(PLM)solution,inChina.ThePLMmarkethasbeengrowingrapidlyinrecentyears,andNEC'scollaborationwithHanpcoaimstobringthebenefitsofObbligatoIItoChinesemanufacturingcompanies.ThispaperexaminestheimportanceofPLMinthecurrentmanufacturinglandscape,highlightsthefeaturesandadvantagesofObbligatoII,anddiscussesthepotentialimpactofitsentryintotheChinesemarket.
