Abstract:
ThePhysicalRandomAccessChannel(PRACH)isacriticalcomponentinLong-TermEvolution(LTE)systemsthatfacilitatesefficientaccessandcommunicationbetweenuserequipment(UE)andtheLTEnetwork.ThispaperaimstoprovideacomprehensiveanalysisofthecoverageperformanceofthePRACHchannelinLTEsystems.ItexploresthefactorsaffectingPRACHcoverage,evaluatestheimpactofvariousdeploymentscenarios,andsuggestspotentialstrategiestoenhancecoverageandimprovetheoverallsystemperformance.
Introduction:
ThePRACHchannelisresponsibleforenablingUEaccessandinitialsynchronizationwiththeLTEnetwork.ItallowsUEstorequestresourcesforuplinktransmission,establishconnections,andinitiatecommunicationwiththenetwork.Therefore,ensuringreliableandsufficientPRACHchannelcoverageisessentialforseamlessnetworkoperation,efficientallocationofresources,andoptimizationofnetworkperformance.
