Introduction
TheIEAT2007InternationalSymposiumonAcousticTechnologywasheldinbothShenzhenandNanjing,andbroughttogetherexpertsandprofessionalsinthefieldofacoustictechnologyfromaroundtheworld.Theaimofthesymposiumwastocreateaplatformfortheexchangeofideas,research,andinnovationinthefieldofacoustictechnology.Thispaperwillprovideanoverviewofthesymposiumandhighlightsomeofthekeythemesandtopicsdiscussedduringtheevent.
OverviewoftheSymposium
TheIEAT2007InternationalSymposiumonAcousticTechnologywasheldfromOctober22-26,2007,witheventstakingplaceinbothShenzhenandNanjing.Thesymposiumincludedkeynotespeeches,technicalsessions,andposterpresentations.
TheopeningceremonywasheldinShenzhen,andincludedspeechesbysymposiumorganizersandgovernmentofficials.Theeventwasattendedbyover500participantsfromaroundtheworld,includingresearchers,engineers,andindustryrepresentatives.
