ThelightingsystemintheMoutainVillaprojectusesseveraldifferenttypesoflightingtocreatedifferentmoodsandsettings.ThereareLEDstripsandrecessedlightsintheceiling,floor,andwall,aswellasdecorativelamps,allcontrolledbythesameapp.Theclimatecontrolsystemusesacombinationofairconditioningandheating,withsensorslocatedthroughoutthehousetoadjustaccordingtooccupancy,humidity,andtemperature.
Theaudio-visualsystemusedintheMoutainVillaprojectincludesahometheaterwithaprojectorandscreen,aswellasseveralflat-screenTVsmountedinvariousrooms.Thesoundsystemisa7.1surroundsound,withspeakersplacedstrategicallytoachieveoptimalsoundquality.Allthesesystemsareconnectedtoacentralmediaserver,whichallowsforstreamingofcontentthroughoutthehouse.
