Abstract
Inrecentyears,theimpactofenvironmentalpollutionhasbecomeincreasinglyprominent,andthemonitoringandmanagementofenvironmentalresourceshavebecomeincreasinglyimportant.ThisresearchprojectaimstodeveloparemotedatatransmissionsystemforenvironmentalmonitoringbasedonGPRS.Thesystemcombinesadvancedcommunicationtechnologyandenvironmentalsensingtechnologyandenablesreal-timedatatransmissionandanalysis,therebycontributingtoenvironmentalprotection.
Introduction
Thecontinuousincreaseofpollutionanddegradationoftheenvironmenthasledtothedemandforreal-timemonitoringandmanagementofenvironmentalresources.Withthehelpofmoderncommunicationtechnology,remotemonitoringandmanagementhasbecomepossible,whichplaysavitalroleinensuringtheprotectionoftheenvironment.ThedevelopmentofaremotedatatransmissionsystemforenvironmentalmonitoringbasedonGPRSisakeystepinpromotingefficientenvironmentalmonitoringandmanagement.
GPRStechnologyistheidealchoiceforremoteenvironmentalmonitoringduetoitsreliablecommunication,lowpowerconsumption,andwidespreadcoverageinmostregions.Moreover,environmentalsensingtechnologyplaysanimportantroleinmonitoringthevariousparametersoftheenvironmentsuchasair,water,soilquality,noise,andradiation.Theintegrationofbothtechnologieswillrevolutionizethewayenvironmentalmonitoringisconducted.
Objectives
TheprimaryobjectiveofthisresearchistodeveloparemotedatatransmissionsystemforenvironmentalmonitoringusingGPRStechnology.Thissystemwillenablereal-timedatatransmission,analysis,andevaluation.Thespecificobjectivesofthestudyare:
1.Toevaluatethevariousenvironmentalsensingtechnologiesandselectthemostappropriatesensorforeachparametertobemonitored.
2.Todesignandimplementaremotedatatransmissionsystemthatisreliable,low-cost,andefficient.
3.Totestandvalidatethesystembymonitoringvariousenvironmentalparameterssuchasairquality,waterquality,soilquality,noiselevel,andradiation.
