Abstract:
Withtheincreasingdemandforenergyefficiencyandenvironmentalprotection,theautomaticmeterreading(AMR)systemhasbecomeanimportantmeansofenergymanagementandmonitoring.BasedontheexistingGSMpublicnetworkcommunicationtechnology,thispaperdesignsandimplementsanautomaticmeterreadingsystem,whichaimstoimprovetheefficiencyandaccuracyofmeterreading,reducemanualerrorsandsaveenergy.
Introduction:
Electricity,waterandgasmetersareimportanttoolsformeasuringandchargingforenergyconsumption.However,traditionalmanualmeterreadinghasmanydisadvantages,suchaslowefficiency,highlaborcost,andpooraccuracy.Withthedevelopmentofinformationtechnologyandcommunicationtechnology,automaticmeterreading(AMR)hasbecomeanimportanttrendinthefieldofenergymanagement.TheAMRsystemcanrealizethereal-timedatacollectionandtransmissionofmeters,improvetheefficiencyandaccuracyofmeterreading,reduceenergywastecausedbymanualerrors,andprovideamoreaccuratebasisforenergymanagementandbilling.
Inthispaper,wedesignandimplementanautomaticmeterreadingsystembasedontheGSMpublicnetworkcommunicationtechnology.Thesystemincludesthreeparts:meterreadingdevice,datatransmissionmoduleanddataprocessingcenter.Themeterreadingdeviceisresponsibleforcollectingthedataofthemetersandconvertingitintodigitalsignals.ThedatatransmissionmoduleusesGSMnetworktotransmitthedatatothedataprocessingcenter.Thedataprocessingcenterisresponsibleforreceivingandprocessingthedata,andgeneratingoutputreportsandbillinginformation.
MeterReadingDevice:
Themeterreadingdeviceincludesamicrocontroller,aGSMmodule,apowersupplymodule,andameterinterfacemodule.Themicrocontrolleristhecoreofthesystem,whichcontrolsthesamplingfrequencyanddataconversionofthemeterreadingdevice.TheGSMmoduleisresponsibleforthecommunicationwiththeGSMnetwork,andthepowersupplymoduleprovidesstablepowersupplyforthesystem.Themeterinterfacemoduleisusedtointerfacewiththemeters,whichincludeselectricity,waterandgasmeters.
DataTransmissionModule:
ThedatatransmissionmoduleincludesaGSMmodule,
