Withthecontinuousdevelopmentofeconomicglobalizationandtheaccelerationofglobalindustrialization,thedemandforenergycontinuestoincreaseandtheenergystructureisbeingadjusted.Fossilfuelsaregraduallybeingreplacedbyrenewableenergysources.Amongthem,offshorewindpowerandoffshoreranchdevelopmentaretwoemergingindustriesthathavegreatpotentialfordevelopment.Integratingthedevelopmentofoffshoreranchandoffshorewindpowernotonlycanmakefulluseoftheoceanresources,butalsocanachievethegoalofefficientandsustainabledevelopmentoftheoceaneconomy.ThispaperwilldiscussthefeasibilityanalysisoftheintegrationdevelopmentofoffshoreranchandoffshorewindpowerinGuangdongProvince,China.
Firstly,theintegrationdevelopmentofoffshoreranchandoffshorewindpowercaneffectivelyimprovetheefficiencyofseaareautilization.Developingoffshoreranchandoffshorewindpowerarebothenergy-intensiveandlarge-scaleinfrastructureprojects.Theintegrationofthesetwoindustriesnotonlymakesfulluseoftheseaarea,butalsocanshareresourcessuchasseaarea,powertransmissionlines,andlogisticssupport,whichgreatlyimprovestheefficiencyofseaareautilization.AccordingtothedatafromtheGuangdongProvincialDepartmentofOceanandFisheries,asof2020,GuangdongProvincehasatotalseaareaof181,000squarekilometers,accountingfor70%ofthetotalareaofGuangdongProvince.Iftheoffshoreranchandoffshorewindpoweraredevelopedseparately,theymayoccupyalargeareaofthesea,resultinginlowutilizationefficiency.However,ifthetwoindustriesareintegrated,theutilizationefficiencyoftheseaareacanbegreatlyimproved.
