Introduction:
Thestudyoflearningmotivationandbehaviorisofsignificantimportanceinunderstandingthefactorsthatinfluenceacademicperformanceandsuccessamongstudents.ThisresearchpaperaimstoconductafactoranalysistoexploretheinfluencingfactorsonlearningmotivationandbehavioramongEnglishmajorvocationalcollegestudents.
Methods:
Toconductthisstudy,bothprimaryandsecondarydatawereused.PrimarydatawascollectedthroughasurveyquestionnairedistributedtoagroupofEnglishmajorvocationalcollegestudents.Thequestionnaireincludeditemsthatassessedvariousfactorspotentiallyimpactinglearningmotivationandbehavior,suchasintrinsicmotivation,extrinsicmotivation,learningenvironment,self-efficacy,andsocialsupport.Secondarydatawasgatheredfrompreviousresearchstudies,academicjournals,andrelevantbooks,whichprovidedacomprehensiveoverviewofthetopic.
ResultsandDiscussion:
ThefactoranalysisrevealedseveralkeyfactorsthatinfluencelearningmotivationandbehavioramongEnglishmajorvocationalcollegestudents.
1.IntrinsicMotivation:
Intrinsicmotivationplaysavitalroleininfluencinglearningmotivationandbehavior.Factorssuchaspersonalinterest,passionforthesubject,andcuriositywereidentifiedassignificantcontributorstointrinsicmotivation.Studentswhowereintrinsicallymotivatedshowedhigherlevelsofengagement,persistence,andself-regulatedlearning.
2.ExtrinsicMotivation:
Extrinsicmotivationfactors,suchasrewards,recognition,andcompetition,werefoundtohaveanimpactonlearningmotivationandbehavior.Studentswhoperceivedexternalrewardsorrecognitionasimportanttendedtoexhibithigherlevelsofeffortandproductivity.However,excessiverelianceonextrinsicmotivationmayhinderthedevelopmentofintrinsicmotivation.
3.LearningEnvironment:
Thelearningenvironmentwasidentifiedasasignificantfactorinfluencinglearningmotivationandbehavior.Factorssuchasclassroomenvironment,teachingmethods,andresourcesavailabilityaffectedstudents'motivation
