Introduction:
Industrialagglomerationreferstothephenomenonwhereindustriesclustertogetherinaparticularregionorarea,leadingtopositiveexternalitiesandeconomicbenefits.Understandingthefactorsthatcontributetoindustrialagglomerationanditseffectsonregionaldevelopmentisofgreatimportanceforpolicymakersandresearchers.ThispaperaimstoanalyzetheindustrialagglomerationeffectinHeilongjiangProvince,China,usingtheConstantElasticityofSubstitution(CES)model.
1.OverviewofHeilongjiangProvince:
HeilongjiangProvince,locatedinNortheastChina,isknownforitsrichnaturalresources,suchasforests,oil,andagriculturalproducts.Theprovincehasadiverseindustrialstructure,includingmanufacturing,agriculture,energy,andmining.Heilongjianghasmadesignificantprogressineconomicdevelopment,butthereisstillroomforimprovement,particularlyintermsofindustrialagglomeration.
