相对收入与中国夫妻地位认同——基于“社会比较—性别规范”框架的分析

本文基于“社会比较-性别规范”的框架，探讨相对收入与中国夫妻地位认同之间的关系。通过文献综述和统计数据分析，发现在中国，相对收入对夫妻地位认同有影响，男性相对收入较高时更容易强调家庭地位，女性相对收入较高时更容易强调自我形象。同时，社会比较和性别规范也对夫妻地位认同有直接和间接的影响。最后，本文提出了一些政策建议，以促进夫妻平等和减少性别不平等。

Introduction:
Chinaisacountrywithalonghistoryoftraditionalgenderroles.Inthepast,menwereexpectedtobethebreadwinners,whilewomenwereexpectedtostayathomeandtakecareofthefamily.However,witheconomicdevelopmentandsocialchangeinrecentdecades,thetraditionalgendernormshavebeenchallengedandchanged.GenderequalityisincreasinglyrecognizedasanimportantvalueinmodernChina.However,genderinequalitystillexistsinmanyaspectsofsociallife,includingthelabormarket,familystatus,andsocialstatus.ThereisagrowingbodyofresearchontherelationshipbetweenrelativeincomeandgenderrolesinChina.ThispaperaimstoexploretherelationshipbetweenrelativeincomeandmaritalstatusinChinafromtheperspectiveofthesocialcomparison-gendernormframework.

Studieshavefoundthatincomedifferentialsbetweenmaritalpartnershavesignificanteffectsonmaritalstatus.Whenthehusband'sincomeissignificantlyhigherthanthewife's,thehusbandismorelikelytoplayadominantroleinthefamily,whilethewifeplaysasubordinaterole.Conversely,whenthewife'sincomeissignificantlyhigher,thewifeismorelikelytoplayadominantroleinthefamily,whilethehusbandplaysasubordinaterole.ThesefindingsaremainlybasedondatafromvarioussurveysconductedinChinainrecentyears,whichdemonstratetheimpactofrelativeincomeonmaritalstatus.
