Abstract:
LivestockandpoultryfarmingplaysacriticalroleinmeetingtheproteindemandsofthegrowingpopulationinChina.ThispaperaimstoprovideacomprehensivespatialanalysisandzoningresearchonthecurrentstateoflivestockandpoultryfarminginChina.Itexaminesthekeyfactorsinfluencingthespatialdistributionoftheindustry,analyzesthespatialcharacteristicsoftheindustryatthenationallevel,andproposesrecommendationsforspatialzoningtoensuresustainableandefficientdevelopment.
Introduction:
LivestockandpoultryfarmingisanessentialsectorinChina'sagriculturalindustry,contributingsignificantlytothenationaleconomyandfoodsecurity.Withapopulationofover1.4billion,Chinafacesthechallengeofmeetingtheincreasingdemandforanimalproducts,whilealsoaddressingenvironmentalconcernsandoptimizingresourceutilization.Spatialanalysisandzoningresearchcanhelpunderstandthecurrentstateandprovideguidanceforthefuturedevelopmentofthissector.
Methods:
ThisresearchutilizesspatialanalysistechniquessuchasGeographicInformationSystem(GIS),remotesensing,andstatisticalanalysis.Datasourcesincludingnationallivestockandpoultrycensusdata,environmentaldata,andeconomicindicatorsareintegratedandanalyzed.ThestudyareacoverstheentireterritoryofChina,andtheanalysisisconductedatdifferentspatialscales,includingnational,regional,andlocallevels.
Results:
1.SpatialDistributionAnalysis:ThespatialdistributionoflivestockandpoultryfarminginChinaisinfluencedbyvariousfactors,includingclimate,landresources,marketdemand,andpolicysupport.Theresearchrevealstheconcentrationofintensivefarminginthenorthernandnortheasternregions,whiletraditionalextensivefarmingismoreprevalentinthewesternandsouthwesternregions.
