Cameracalibrationisanessentialprocessincomputervisionandcomputergraphicsapplications.Itinvolvesdeterminingtheintrinsicandextrinsicparametersofacamera,whicharenecessaryforaccuratescenemeasurementsand3Dreconstruction.Inthispaper,weproposeasimpleandpracticalcameracalibrationmethodthatrequiresminimalequipmentandiseasytoimplement.Themethodutilizesaplanarcalibrationtargetandutilizesacombinationofmanualandautomatictechniquestoestimatecameraparameters.Experimentalresultsdemonstratetheeffectivenessandaccuracyoftheproposedmethod.
1.Introduction
Cameracalibrationisafundamentalstepincomputervisionandgraphics,withnumerousapplicationssuchasscenereconstruction,objecttracking,augmentedreality,andcameraposeestimation.Traditionalcalibrationmethodsoftenrequireexpensiveequipment,multipleimages,andcomplexmathematicalcalculations.Ourproposedmethodaimstodevelopanalternativeapproachthatisbothsimpleandpractical.
