基于Linux的五轴联动电火花加工数控系统 Abstract Withtheadvancementoftechnology,computernumericalcontrol(CNC)systemshavebecomeanessentialcomponentinthemanufacturingindustry.OneoftheCNCsystemsthathavegainedpopularityistheLinux-basedfive-axislinkedelectricaldischargemachining(EDM)system.Thissystemhasimprovedaccuracy,efficiency,andproductqualityintheEDMprocess.Thispaperexploresthearchitecture,workingprinciple,andadvantagesoftheLinux-basedfive-axislinkedEDMsystem. Introduction EDMprocessisapopularmethodusedformachininghighlycomplexshapesandhighhardnessmaterials.TheEDMprocessinvolvestheuseofanelectrode,whichisnegativelycharged,andtheworkpiece,whichispositivelycharged.Thevoltagedifferencebetweenthetwocreatessparksthatremovealayeroftheworkpiece'smaterial,leadingtotheformationofacavity.Inrecentyears,five-axislinkedEDMsystemshavebecomepopularduetotheirprecisionandefficiency. Linux-basedfive-axislinkedEDMsystem ThearchitectureoftheLinux-basedfive-axislinkedEDMsystemcomprisestwomajorcomponents:thehardwareandsoftware.Thehardwaresectionincludesthemachinetool,powersupply,workpieceholder,robotarm,andfive-axislinkedCNCcontroller.ThemachinetoolisresponsiblefortheEDMprocessandfeaturesfive-axislinkedmovementforenhancedprecision.Thepowersupplyisusedtoprovideahighvoltagedischargebetweentheelectrodeandworkpiece,creatingthesparksthatremovematerialfromtheworkpiece.TheworkpieceholderisusedtoholdtheworkpieceinplaceduringtheEDMprocess.Therobotarmaidsinautomatedloadingandunloadingandelectrodereplacement.Finally,thefive-axislinkedCNCcontrollercontrolsthehardwareandsoftwarecomponentsofthesystem.
