Abstract:
Withtheincreasingdemandfornaturalresources,underwaterdeepmininghasbecomeaviableoption.However,thismethodposessignificantchallenges,particularlyregardingthecancellationofminingcavitiesanditssubsequentimpactongroundsubsidence.Inthisstudy,weaimtoanalyzethenumericalvaluesofgroundsubsidencecausedbythecancellationofpointpillarsduringunderwaterdeepmining.Theresearchfocusesonunderstandingthemechanismsbehindgroundsubsidence,assessingitsmagnitude,andproposingpotentialmitigationstrategies.
1.Introduction:

Theincreasingdemandformineralsandresourceshasledtounderwaterdeepminingbecominganimportanttechnique.However,thecancellationofpointpillarsduringminingcanresultingroundsubsidence.
1.2Objectives:
Theprimaryobjectiveofthisstudyistoanalyzethenumericalvaluesofgroundsubsidencecausedbythecancellationofpointpillarsduringunderwaterdeepmining.Additionally,itaimstoinvestigatethemechanismsbehindgroundsubsidence,assessthemagnitudeofsubsidence,andproposemitigationstrategiestominimizeitsimpact.
2.Methodology:
2.1NumericalModeling:
